Who is PlayRage? Good question. We’re gamers who, like you, have a passion for playing. In short that means we’ve spent many a sleepless night building cities, civilizations, armies and economies - far more nights than we’d really like to admit actually. We figured there were others like us. Hence, the site you’re on right now, PlayRage.

In our first phase you’ll see PlayRage evolve as a gamers information site. We’re seeking to build a true community of gamers that enjoy more than your standard twitch and shoot fare. We’ll create a platform for gamers to communicate with each other and with the game companies. We’ll expand a game’s life with forums, competitions and MODs. And we’ll continue to highlight the best of the best games available on the market. We’re huge fans of strategy, simulation and logic games so if you prefer using some gray matter when you play, we’re going to make you a very happy camper.

In the last year we've added the Playopedia, a listing of nearly 10,000 games. It's not easy to keep that data up to date and accurate so if you see an error please, by all means, let us know. What's next? Online games. We're looking for and at games that can be played in a browser (yes, we're trying to find a way to play at work without doing installs). Stay tuned for more on that front.
